We offer a wide range of study styles (listed below), based around your individual needs. Personalised Work Based Learning: Learning can be flexible and fit around your individual needs. You may not need to attend the college and all your learning may take place at work.
1 Day Workshops: These short intensive courses are taking place in our NEW Business, Enterprise, Skills and Training (BEST) Centre. If you would like to invest in, or up date your current skills, these courses are for you. All courses can be accredited with the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Blended Learning: Are you able to study independently, but would also like to work within a peer group? These courses offer a mixture of work based support with day release and classroom based workshops. These can take place within your employer’s premises and at the College.
College: These courses offer you the support and teaching you will need to be successful in your qualification. You will be expected to attend taught sessions on a regular basis throughout your programme of study.
Apprenticeship: Many of these Level 2 & 3 qualifications can be incorporated into an Apprenticeship framework. If you are aged 16-18, or 19+ and interested in an Apprenticeship, please contact the college and speak to one of our NextStep Education and Careers Advisers on 01702 445710 or email info@southend-adult.ac.uk
Bespoke Training Programmes: We will work with your employer to develop a programme of training that responds to your needs and is designed specifically to meet your requirements. Tell us your needs, and we will find a way to fulfil them!
Throughout your journey, you will be supported by an experienced and qualified assessor who will guide you in building your portfolio of evidence. You will also be able to update you English, maths and ICT skills and achieve a recognised qualification.
Our range of vocational training frameworks start at various times throughout the year. Apply and you will be contacted to arrange an Information, Advice and Guidance session. Funding may be available depending on your individual circumstances.
