Celebrating Success
A Celebration ceremony was held at Southend Central Library on Tuesday 18th September to mark the achievements of ‘Skills for Life’ students.
Individuals who have successfully completed a National test this year were invited, and their certificates were presented to them by Counsellor Gwen Horrigan, the Deputy Mayor and Ali Hadawi, Principal at Southend Adult Community College.
This marks the 2nd year of the test centre at Southend Central Library, which enables more people to take advantage of the fantastic opportunity to get FREE national qualifications in English and/or maths.
The national tests are an excellent way to update qualifications and can be really useful at work, for entrance to further training opportunities or to boost a CV. The test centre also offers FREE specialist help for those who feel they need a little preparation before taking the test.
