Interested in Childcare?
At SACC we offer a wide range of courses suitable for volunteers, parent helpers through to managers and senior childcare workers. All our courses are part-time and have parent friendly hours. Some courses are available on an assessor only basis.
We offer a broad programme including;
- NVQ Children and Young Peoples Workforce (CPYW) Level 2 which is suitable for those who are new to childcare or working in a voluntary post
- The next step for those with a Level 2 qualification or experienced childcare workers would be NVQ Children and Young Peoples Workforce (CPYW) Level 3
- In addition we offer NVQ Children and Young Peoples Workforce (CPYW) Level 4 for experienced childcare managers
- If you are interested in working in schools we also offer NVQ’s in this area
- Throughout the year there are a number of taster sessions for those wanting to find out more about working with children
- We also offer related qualifications such as first-aid, food hygiene, safeguarding and counselling courses
