College friends exhibit at Southend Library
A collection of students who met at Southend Adult Community College last year have joined forces to put on their own exhibition this month.
Georgia, Sally, Simon and Nick all completed an A Level course in Fine Art at the Adult College in 2006. Since completing this course they have all continued with their artwork, and developed their own unique styles.
Their exhibition is entitled ‘In the Mix’ and showcases a variety of work, including drawings, textural paintings and mosaics. Artist, Georgia, said “Our work as a group is so varied - the exhibition will demonstrate a real mixture of techniques and approaches."
‘In the Mix’ will run from 19th July to 7th August at Southend Central Library, Victoria Avenue.
