SACC is very proud of its award winning Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service. The college have recently been awarded the matrix Standard and is also a NextStep Centre.
The matrix Standard is a unique, national quality framework that is applicable to any organisation delivering IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) in the context of learning and work. 
Our NextStep adviser’s provide information, advice and resources to help adults make more effective choices about skills, careers, work and life. Whether you want to improve your career prospects, get a qualification or make the most of your job, our advisers can help. 
Our advisers offer:
- Impartial Information, Advice and Guidance on work, learning, career and business opportunities
- Skills training including ICT, Maths and English
- Classroom based or flexible e-learning options
- Business and employment advice and employability skills programmes
When you have considered your options, our advisers can direct you to the right sources of information or learning, including a wide range of courses that are offered in the college.
