Courses for Students with Learning Disabilities
We offer a programme of courses specifically designed for students with Learning Disabilities, which enable the learning and development of new skills.All courses combine 'Skills for Life' (including reading, writing, number and communication skills) with an interesting topic to provide you with a new hobby and increased confidence.
A range of specialist equipment and assistance is available (on request) to help you study, including:
- Adjustable tables, chairs and easels
- Magnavision, large print and braille service
- Communications
- Dyslexia support and assessment
- Support tutors
- Examination support

Lancaster Project
The Lancaster Centre is a new venture which provides further education for learners with profound and multiple physical and learning disabilities, aged 19-25.
The project will soon have it’s own fantastic purpose built premises and will offer courses to cater for up to 50 learners.
