Welcome to the Southend Adult Community College (SACC) website.
I hope you enjoy your visit and get a taste of the stimulating and enjoyable environment we offer our students.
SACC offers a wide range of high quality part-time courses and training for adults and young people, striving to meet the needs of both individual learners and local employers. We are an award winning college and have recently received our Beacon status. Awarded by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) it recognises excellence and innovation within the further education and skills sector. Beacon status is only awarded to those learning providers who deliver outstanding teaching and learning. This makes us the only Local Authority-run adult community college in the country to have received this award. Inspected by OFSTED in November 2008 SACC was judged as "Outstanding" in many areas, this puts us in the top 4% of adult colleges in the country.
So whether you are returning to education, wanting to upgrade your qualifications for a new career, or just looking to develop a new interest and have some fun, then we have the course for you.
