I am delighted to welcome you to our website; if you are an existing or former student it is good to see you accessing the site again. If you are new to the College I hope you find the site easy to use and you discover something of interest to you.

If you are local to the Southend area I would urge you to call in and visit the College in person. We are proud of the welcoming atmosphere at the College and friendly staff who are available to answer your enquiries and show you around the excellent facilities available.

There is always a great buzz around the College which is used by people from many different groups and communities. I have always found SACC a fantastic place to work and I hope all our students find us a good place to learn.

We have recently introduced a number of new programmes specifically designed for young people. Study programmes and Traineeships are aimed at supporting learners into employment. These complement the wide range of apprenticeships the College has offered for a number of years.

An overview of the range of courses and programmes offered at the college is available via our Annual Review document which can be downloaded from the link on the right. The Annual Review also includes details of the College’s learner and staff award winners for the previous year.

Southend is a great place to live and work and the College is proud to be part of the Borough Council and contributing to ‘creating a better Southend’ the council’s mission statement. The town has a great sense of pride, and the Borough’s recent achievement of receiving the ‘Council of the Year’ award illustrates the ambition and aspiration to improve further.

The College has an ambitious vision for the future. Our three year strategic plan is again available as a download from the right, outlines our commitment to demonstrating the sustainable social value (SSV) approach we have adopted. SSV embraces the acquisition of employability skills leading to work, personal interest courses that improve social relationships, health and wellbeing programmes that enhance the quality of life and skills for independent living enabling people to live in their own homes.

Full information for all courses can be found on our course list page, please click here for more information >> don’t forget to check our Facebook and Twitter pages for regular updates.

I look forward to meeting you in the near future and hope you will continue to attend the College as your chosen place for learning.
